Diamonds, yeah they're nice and shiny and are worth heaps and heaps of money but there has got to be better things in life than having an expensive ring. This post isn't just about diamonds but I've just been thinking about materialistic views of society today.
This afternoon during a 3 hour dance class i felt free, and i knew that the feeling was not something that you could buy, things like a really good laugh, the kind that make you cry. Where your jaw hurts so badly because you cant stop laughing. A good cup of tea, doesn't cost hundreds of dollars does it? yet we still allow ourselves to become consumed with such items as diamonds- that when you think about it are just: Rocks.
If you get the chance one day, when the sun is setting- skip.
Skip down the road hand in hand with your smile on your face and laugh, laugh like you never have before.
Goodnight all- keep reading as Mrs.Clarke always enforces with a firm grip.

In two tiny dark and somewhat mysterious "vintage wares" shops in Windsor, England mum and I decided to buy some old fashion keys.
They are amazing in that there were thousands of rusty keys similar to the one above and you'll never know who's key it is, and more so what it opened.... how intriguing.
have a think about it next time you find a key.

An ode to amy winehouse,
many people dont know her without the tottoos, beehive hair, missing teeth and druged up look, but if you hear her early work the album "Frank" - 2003 is amazingly constructed and has realy meaning, and quite frankly pardon the pun i think more people should give her a break and find out more about her before some of the bad choices she has made...
keep smiling everyone
much love

No, its not Katy Perry it's the beautiful actress Zooey Deschanel.
Shes in "Yes man and "Bridge to Terrabithia" and many more films.
I just think shes really natural and seems to have a certain warmth about her.
Peace, Madison.

winnie the poo

Theres always been to me, something so enchanting about Winnie the poo and his tales.
My Nana and i go onto this little bridge near her House in templestowe and find a twig each and drop it into the river below and race to the other side to see who's stick was the fastest. This is what poo and his friends call "poo sticks" it may sound gross to the young and immature but as you can see in the image above its a great bonding game. I love the unique and original drawings, i actually own the original book which i plan on looking over after my hectic week of exams.
peace everyone,
maybe you could go back and read something from your childhood?

amazing women

Although so far all my pictures have been in black and white i thought Drew Barrymore could only be shown in full colour.
Growing up in a life of smoking, rehab and alcohol abuse her youth was not exactly "easy"
and since she has become absolutely stunning and beautiful both inside and out. Acting in a multitude of movies and television shows she has inspired many, and so has become one of my idols.
thanks Drew. x

Marilyn Munroe, (formally known as :Norma Jeane Baker)
Beautiful and curvy. She aided women all over the globe in taking pride in their natural figure.
Along with that famous shot of her holding her dress down, her short blonde hair and red lipstick she was an amazing woman.
Sadly Marilyn passed away at the age of 36.

Its a sunny (yet windy) day in Autumn, and i'm about to make some tea and breakfast.
First i thought id just put this out there. Last night on SBS i watched a documentary about the french beauty Brigitte Bardot and her amazing efforts to ban animal cruelty. She supports many causes and travells world wide to save baby seals and owns a animal shelter which aims to protect dogs cats and horses. I thought it necessary to commend her huge efforts. x
Bye for now.

Dance

First blog. I chose a beautiful night to begin, so here goes.
Dance, for me is what gets me through everything.
And this youthful image captures the carlessness we all wish we still possessed. I've spent 8hours this week dancing to the beats and underneath all the fun, enjoying the overall experience of releasing the build up of school. Some of us and the others who "chose" to do extension enlgish would agree its an occassional burden on our weekends which we would other wise fill with... well who knows but studying the "economic problem" wouldnt exactly be on my to-do list. Any how z's call along with dreams of better things :)
ciao. x
